Finding balance in life and work

Hello fellow life travelers,

I find myself in a contemplative mood on this warm, sunny day in February.  I know that life is constantly throwing us curve balls (I hope it's not just me!) and that we are defined by how we survive and hopefully thrive.  Sometimes I don't do the best job possible but I find that eventually I rally.  I just have to wait for that second wind to pick me up and take me sailing.  For me, this second wind comes from running, biking, spending time with friends and family, and making jewelry!  We all have our creative outlets that allow our mind and spirit to soar.  I hope that you all are finding time to unleash your creative impulses.  Let them fly!

So, in the midst of surviving the ups and downs, I find that I don't have as much time as I would like for Wire Harmony.  But don't lose faith!  I have dreams and hopes for it, and the timing just needs to present itself in the way it needs to happen.  I have realized in my life that when I focus too much on one thing, the universe usually gives me some pretty obvious signals that adjustments are needed to bring back balance.  The trick is finding that balance.

I do know one thing for sure, that I love designing and creating jewelry.  I hope that some of the joy I find in this process spreads around to others.

Wire Harmony's future plans:

I will NOT be at the Bernardo Winery Farmer's Market this Friday, Valentine's Day. Kaylynne has a school performance that I can't wait to see.  Then, I am spending some alone time with the hubby!!

I WILL be at the Winery February 21st and 28th!!

I am applying for some shows in the next few months and will keep ya posted.

I am also trying to pull together a really cool event for raise funds for OMO Child, an amazing charitable organization that I have mentioned before.  Hopefully, this will occur in May.  Details to come!

In the meantime, check out the video clip on their website to hear the amazing story of Lale Labuko and the children he has saved from ritual infanticide in the Omo Valley, Ethiopia.  I guarantee it will touch your heart.
